What is a Fractional Executive or Fractional CFO?

Then I realized, let's stop focusing on the "title" because, after all it's just a name, and instead let's put the focus on what really matters — what I DO, which goes beyond the role of just a temporary, outsourced CFO. I am a fractional business leader who brings executive management and financial background to assist business owners in correcting today’s issues while preparing for tomorrow.

We prepare for tomorrow by enacting gradual changes to the business model with the goal of staying relevant to the market.

Pro tem is Latin, short for pro tempore meaning "for the time being"; and in our case, it means I will work with your company for as long as you need me.  I work with companies from the inside, as compared to many consultants who provide services from the outside. I get to know the people and the real issues a company is facing — which is more effective for long-lasting change.

By implementing established management tools, my  goal is to give businesses a solid foundation that will both help them reach their long-term goals and  put them in a position to adapt to changes.

In my experience working with business owners, regardless of the specifics of the situation or industry, they've all had a desire to improve, do better and stay relevant in the marketplace.
